Chelsea Athletics features a high-powered slate of competition on Wednesday, September 16th, across middle school, junior varsity, and varsity sports. Across tennis courts, volleyball gyms, cross country courses, soccer pitches, and field hockey turf, Chelsea athletes are gearing up to compete, grow, and represent their community. The action on home turf takes place at the Chelsea Aux Gym, where the Blue Volleyball teams host rival Saline. The 7 Blue Volleyball squad kicks off the court action at 4:15 PM, followed immediately by 8 Blue Volleyball at 5:30 PM. Road competition begins early in the afternoon with JV Boys Tennis hitting the courts at Grosse Ile at 4:00 PM, following a 2:00 PM dismissal and 2:10 PM bus time. Meanwhile, the 7 Gold Volleyball team plays Pinckney at Pathfinder at 4:15 PM with a 2:50 PM dismissal, and Middle School Cross Country travels to Bedford for a 4:30 PM meet after leaving on the 2:30 PM bus. As the evening progresses, Chelsea teams hit the road for several marquee match-ups. JV Boys Soccer kicks off at Adrian at 5:00 PM, while 8 Gold Volleyball plays Pinckney at Pathfinder at 5:30 PM. Over on the turf, JV Field Hockey takes on rival Dexter at 5:30 PM. The night wraps up with two major varsity showdowns as Varsity Boys Soccer plays at Adrian at 6:30 PM, and Varsity Field Hockey battles Dexter under the lights at 7:00 PM.
