Tuesday, September 15 promises a full slate of competition for Chelsea Athletics, with Bulldog squads featured across cross country, tennis, football, volleyball, and field hockey. Whether traveling across Southeastern Conference territory or defending home turf, student-athletes will be in action from early afternoon through the evening. The road slate begins in Tecumseh, where the Varsity Modified Boys Tennis team opens the day's events with a 4:00 PM match against the host squad. Shortly after, the Varsity Cross Country teams head north to Pinckney for the SEC Jamboree, with races getting underway at 4:30 PM. Pinckney will also serve as the battleground for a gridiron doubleheader. The JV Football team kicks off at 4:15 PM, followed immediately by the 9th-Grade Football squad taking the field at 5:30 PM against the Pirates. Back in Chelsea, fans have plenty of home competition to support throughout the night. The gym lights will be on as Bulldog Volleyball hosts Jackson, beginning with the JV matchup at 5:30 PM, leading into the Varsity contest set for 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, outdoors at 6:00 PM, the Middle School Field Hockey team faces off against St. Francis. Come out to support the blue and gold at home or follow along as the Bulldogs compete on the road.
