The Bulldogs are set for a high-octane weekend as our spring athletes compete across Michigan. From major invitationals to home turf showdowns, here is your guide to the upcoming Chelsea High School athletic slate. Friday, April 24 Boys Lacrosse vs. Jackson The main event under the lights tonight features Varsity Boys Lacrosse as they host Jackson. After a dominant 15-2 victory over the Vikings earlier this season, the Bulldogs look to protect their home turf and complete the season sweep. Time: 7:00 PM Location: Chelsea High School Softball: v. Columbia Central Time: 4pm (DH) Track & Field at Mason Invite Both the Boys and Girls Varsity teams are traveling to the prestigious Mason Invite today. Expect a day of high-level competition as our runners, jumpers, and throwers face off against some of the region's top talent. Girls Water Polo at East Kentwood Invite The Varsity Girls Water Polo team begins their weekend marathon today at the East Kentwood Invite. This tournament is a staple for the squad, offering a chance to test their endurance against tough West Michigan competition over the next two days. Saturday, April 25 Varsity Baseball at Skyline (Doubleheader) The Bulldogs head to Ann Arbor for a Saturday morning twin-bill against Skyline. With Chelsea coming off some strong non-league performances, this doubleheader will be a key test of the pitching rotation's depth. First Pitch: 10:00 AM (Game 2 to follow) JV Boys Golf at Hudson Mills The future of Bulldog golf is on display early Saturday morning as the JV squad competes in the Ace & Bob Byerlein JV Invite. Tee Time: 8:30 AM Location: Hudson Mills Metropark Girls Varsity Tennis at Pioneer Quad Tennis will be in action at the Pioneer Quad tomorrow morning. This four-team tournament format provides a rigorous day of match play for the Varsity lineup. Start Time: 9:00 AM Weather Alert: As always, the spring sports schedule is subject to change.
