Big Day for the Bulldogs: Chelsea Athletics Sweeps into the Win Column

It was a banner day for Chelsea Athletics as the Bulldogs showcased their depth and dominance across the track, the court, and the pool. From definitive conference wins to major upsets, the Blue and White had plenty to celebrate today. Track & Field: Girls Sweep, Boys Split a Battle The Girls Track and Field team officially found their stride, picking up their first two victories of the season in commanding fashion. The Bulldogs outpaced Lincoln 77–59 and followed it up with a decisive 86–51 win over Adrian. On the boys' side, it was a day of high-stakes competition. The Boys Track team looked sharp in a 78–50 win against Lincoln. They nearly pulled off the sweep, falling just short in a nail-biter against Adrian, 68.5–59.5. Girls Tennis: Double Trouble for the Competition The Girls Tennis team was nearly perfect on the courts today, securing two team victories. vs. Ypsilanti: A dominant 7–1 performance. vs. Williamston: An even more impressive 8–1 win. The Bulldogs’ consistency across both singles and doubles play continues to make them a formidable opponent this spring. Girls Water Polo: The Upset of the Night In perhaps the most high-profile victory of the day, the Girls Water Polo team proved they can compete with the best in the state. Facing off against the #9 ranked Ann Arbor Huron River Rats, the Bulldogs relied on a stifling defense to secure a 5–2 statement win. The victory over a top-10 opponent signals that this Chelsea squad is a serious contender as they move deeper into their schedule.
