Bulldogs Secure Strong 7th-Place Finish at Competitive VT Tournament

The Chelsea varsity boys golf team held their own against a massive field this week, finishing 7th out of 24 teams at the prestigious VT Tournament. In a pack crowded with top-tier talent, the Bulldogs posted a collective team score of 325. Leaders on the Links Chelsea’s performance was anchored by Parker Westcott, who turned in a stellar round of 77. Westcott's consistency set the tone for the Bulldogs, while Kevin Scott and Logan Fansler followed closely behind to round out the team's top three contributors. Tournament Standings The competition at the top of the leaderboard was fierce. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s claimed the tournament title with an impressive team score of 306. They were followed by Stoney Creek, who took second place with a 314, and Ann Arbor Pioneer, who secured the third spot on the podium with a 317 . Rounding out the top ten in a 24-team field is a significant achievement for the Bulldogs, proving they can compete with some of the largest programs in the region. Up Next: SEC White Action The Bulldogs won’t have much time to rest. They are set to return to conference play this Wednesday, traveling to Tecumseh for an important SEC White matchup. With the momentum from their top-ten tournament finish, Chelsea looks to continue their climb in the standings.
