Bulldogs take on the Maples in girls soccer

The Bulldogs faced a tough road test in SEC White action, ultimately falling 2-1 to Adrian in a match that saw both goals and weather disruptions. A Back-and-Forth Battle Adrian drew first blood, jumping out to an early 1-0 lead and putting the Bulldogs on their heels. However, the Bulldogs displayed quick resilience. With under 20 minutes remaining in the opening half, Zora Ziolkowski found the back of the net to equalize, sending both teams into the break deadlocked at 1-1. Weathering the Storm The intensity of the game was briefly cooled by a lightning delay just before the start of the second half. Following the forced intermission, Adrian reclaimed the momentum. They struck early in the final frame to take a 2-1 lead—a margin they would hold until the final whistle despite the Bulldogs' efforts to find a second equalizer. Look Ahead With the loss, the Bulldogs move to 1-1 in the SEC White. They will look to bounce back on their home turf as they host Tecumseh this coming Monday at 5:30 PM.
